10 puppies from Missouri

The momma of these little fluffs was dumped in rural Missouri while she was still pregnant. A local family took her in and gave her a safe place to have her puppies and raise them until they were ready to find their own homes. Mom is a sweet girl and the family is keeping her and getting her spayed. The ten (yes, 10) puppies are currently at our Murphysboro Campus hoping to get into foster homes until they are ready for adoption.

If you are interested in fostering, please email foster@wright-wayrescue.org. Our team works hard to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia simply because they do not have a home in rural parts of our country. We are so grateful for the role you play in pushing our mission forward. Thank you for supporting Wright-Way Rescue by donating, fostering, volunteering or sharing our message.

Marvin from Mississippi

Marvin was found alone in the woods by people on a four wheeler. They had been out camping and decided to take a ride and explore the area. While they were out enjoying nature, they found a single, emaciated puppy. They searched the area for signs of others, but he was completely alone. They were not from the area and could not keep him, so they took him to our Mississippi partner in the area, who then reached out to us for help. Marvin is now ready for his forever home.

Thank you for supporting Wright-Way Rescue and choosing to make a difference for homeless pets that are waiting for our help throughout Illinois and all of Rural America.

Puppies loose in Mississippi

When the Humane Society in Greenwood, Mississippi got a call about puppies running loose in town, they went to pick them up, keep them safe, and find their owner. When no one claimed them, they reached out to us for help finding them homes. Our Rescue Run was going to be in Mississippi the next day, so they were at our Admissions and Medical Campus in no time.

They are now ready to find their forever homes and will be at the Morton Grove Adoption Center this week. Please come in and meet them. They want to celebrate their First Holiday with you!

Freyja

Freyja made her way back to Wright-Way Rescue through no fault of her own. Her family felt they could no longer provide her with the home they felt she deserved.

She is a stunning, soulful, calm, young lady who would enjoy a low-key family. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is very loving and affectionate.

Wright-Way Rescue makes a lifetime commitment to the homeless animals in our program. Thank you for your support which enables dogs like Freyja to have a safe place to return to when needed.

Three puppies from Hayfield

These three babies were found playing in a hayfield with no one around to look after them. Neighbors in the area thought they might belong to a feral dog that had been seen at a couple of different farms, but no one was really sure where they came from. Our partner in Panola County, Mississippi is working to find the dog and get her safe. We are hoping she will be joining us soon and she can find a forever home also.

Please support our work and send a message of hope and encouragement to our Rescue Partners advocating to change the way homeless pets are treated in the rural and impoverished communities that Wright-Way Rescue works tirelessly to assist.
